According to the Gaurdian, Google ended 2013 with more than a million Android apps on its Google Play store and an article in Education Week questions if Apple will remain king of the hill in its market position. Tablets are taking on the educational market, but will they be successful? One player — Google, may be creeping up. In our expereince at Teachers With Apps we hear mostly of schools using IOS, but we did think it important to acknowlegde that android is giving it the good old college try. It will be interesting in a year to see where the cards fall. If you are involved with a school using an android device, we would love to hear which one.
