icon175x175Grandpa’s Workshop, by Fairlady Media, is such a wonderful app from beginning to end. The narrator’s voice is perfect, bringing back many memories. Who knew we were learning math skills even back then? Join grandpa in his workshop cutting boards to learn simple fractions. Put together puzzles to earn rewards for the shop. Take out your popcorn and join him for real true to life videos on how tools are actually used. While this is geared for younger kids, many older kids will like the videos. Grandpa is always positive and wants a high five. Parents can go into settings and choose from up to seven different skills, as well as toggling the music on and off. Count nails, spot the correct ruler as well as learn tool names. This has become one of my favorite apps to use with my grandchildren. Check it out in the App Store, it’s FREE right now.
