Virtual Speech Center has become a well-known app developer for speech-language apps and Prepositions Journey is no exception. The artwork is beautiful with three different locations to choose from including the island, city, or lake camping.
After registering your student, customization is endless with 20 receptive expressions to choose from, such as out, on the right, and behind. The receptive lessons give three different choices. Expressive words can be chosen, such as below, in the middle, or in front. The questions are asked, then the teacher can mark whether the question was answered correctly. This is wonderful for tracking specific IEP goals for students. The narrator’s speech is clear and easy to understand. The student can even replay the request. When the session is finished, a report is produced stating the date, student’s name, and a detailed percentage of each word that you selected to test. This report can then be printed or emailed. There are several settings to choose from including automatic or random paging, how many incorrect and correct sounds are needed and enable/disable audio. This is a wonderful addition to their line of products and is available in the App store for $4.99.
