oneimageWhole, by Redmond Wallace and Noam Davidovics addresses elementary school kids who are just started learning Common Fractions. In this app, kids are engaged with a special set of fractions:

1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 3/8, 5/8, 7/8

The goal of Whole is to provide extensive practice in the addition of these fractions. The rules of the game are easy to understand and follow; the band of colors is pleasant and appropriate. There are no restrictions on the duration of the game.

Whole allows kids to learn the addition of simple fractions for themselves, and that will make it easier to comprehend the more complex levels of fractions down the road.

All of the user feedback I have come across is very positive, describing and praising this math app as  “Addictive, Fun and Educational”! This review is short and sweet and directly reflects the success of this app in its simplicity and ease of use.
