Best Educational Apps for Summer
BY ERIN BRENNAN

With summer slipping by so quickly, it’s important to keep kids engaged and educated. At Famigo, our content team searches through tons of apps to find the best educational content for toddlers, kids, tweens and teens. Speaking of education, Famigo has been making a push for all content on our site to be more educational. This means we’ve been adding educational games, apps, Wowzer sites and more. Learning is a lifelong process and it shouldn’t stop when kids are away from school, so Famigo wants to help families bridge the gap between school and home.

We’ve picked our favorite educational apps of for the summer to share with your family.

How do we pick these apps? We have been making some changes to how we review apps here at Famigo. We’ve started tying our apps to Common Core standards as well as Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). This means that our favorite new apps will correspond to lessons and knowledge– which is good news for families. Now, kids can practice and sharpen their skills in the summer.
