I love my devices, my iPad Air, iPad 4th generation and my iPad mini. So, to keep them safe I use the Gripcase USA cases. I have to say, I LOVE them just as much as my iPads! In fact, they make my iPad(s) so much more useful.

The Gripcase is made of a lightweight material that is strong and durable and at the same time adds almost no extra weight to the device.  With a variety of colors to choose from there is something for everyone.

  • Blue
  • Purple
  • Red
  • Green

My iPads are known by the color case that they live in.  It’s not uncommon to hear a student say to me “I want to use the green iPad, purple iPad or blue iPad.  I bet you can guess what color cases my iPads are in!

There are so many wonderful features of these cases from the easy to hold design with handle cut outs, to the lightweight, ease of cleaning (just wipe it down), unique design and colors.  I appreciate that I can use my iPad during an app workshop/presentation and easily use the charging cord or a VGA/HDMI adapter without having to remove the case.

All products have their pros and cons, but I can honestly say the only thing that I find to be a ‘con’ at times is that the Gripcase won’t fit in my purse. It’s not really a problem though because the handles allow for ease of carrying.  In fact, I have students that love to ‘help’ carry the iPads back to the speech room at school.  I think they just want to look cool carrying the iPads in their nifty cases!

2ndThere are two very special accessories that go along with the Gripcase; the sturdy stand and the handy clip-on strap.  Actually who needs a bigger purse when you can just hang it on your shoulder….and that gives you quicker access to your apps on your device too!  You may have seen me around Atlanta at ISTE 2014 carrying one of my iPads!

What I love about the sturdy stands is that they allow for you to use your iPad in landscape and portrait upright positions.  In addition, you can you the iPad at a slight angle in the stand, which is perfect for those pesky fluorescent lights above that tend to provide an annoying glare.

What you can expect from a Gripcase USA is a case that is durable, colorful, practical, functional and perfect in just about every way!  My students say “it’s the coolest case” and I tend to agree.  All students seem to love the Gripcase USA case because of it’s unique design which allows for easily playing rotating type games on an iPad, carrying while on a school campus walk, using on a table top, or just holding it in your lap.

Look for more great Gripcase products on their way.  I am super excited to see the new Gripcase Shield and Gripcase Scribe!
