April-2_Autism-Awareness-Day_Mighty-LeagueOn April 2, 2014, in honor of World Autism Awareness Day, Geek Club Books’ The Mighty League Vol 1 – The Terrible Taunting – A Blackfish Children’s Book app will be available for free on iTunes. The first book app with an autistic character who goes to school and encounters a bully. Suitable for the early elementary school classroom for lessons on being different, discussing autism, and the subject of bullying. A Project Based Learning Unit compliant with Common Core State Standards is available for free at Geek Club Books.

Readers view the world from the character’s unique point of view and discover that he’s not so different after all. There are several customizable options including choosing a boy or girl character and record your own narration.
