Todo Math Number Matrix by Locomotive Labs is the newest app in the Locomotive Labs lineup. Math Number Matrix is based on the fun and educational mini games in Todo Math. Six areas of play are offered in this comprehensive logic puzzler.
Number to target counting and number recognition skills with 12 activity levels
Logic to target visuals and understanding with 9 activity levels
Shape to target categorization by color, size and more with 9 activity levels
Addition & Subtraction to target adding and subtracting skills with 13 activity levels
Multiplication to target skills using visuals and numbers in a creative way with 11 activity levels
Fraction to target early fraction concepts and dividing into equal parts with 9 activity levels
Each area has multiple levels to conquer and parents can view progress on the “My Progress” screen.
The Number option begins with a one to one correspondence puzzle and progresses in difficulty through the 12 activity levels. If a user is finding it a bit challenging, clicking on the yellow question mark icon in the upper right corner will reveal a visual cue for a bit of extra support.
Each level offers many opportunities to work on foundational math skills that are essential for higher level math concepts. Children love all the options for practice and can become proficient with these needed skills by playing again and again!
There is something to practice for every young mathematician. If your child or student is beyond some simple addition or shape matching and ready for fractions then challenge them with the fun of completing all nine fraction levels!
The new Todo Number Matrix app is a must have. Parents, take it along while you are traveling for some extra practice and teachers can use this app during a math center, to supplement class curriculum or just for some all around fun! This is an excellent app by Locomotive Labs and does not disappoint! Well done Locomotive Labs….keep up the awesome work!
