Our mission at Healthy Minds Online is to empower individuals with knowledge and understanding to allow them to make better-informed decisions regarding their mental health and well-being. Being able to deal with mental health issues is paramount to being able to build resilience and deal with challenging moments.

'Mental Health Awareness' is an app by Healthy Minds Online, which is an informative and entertaining mobile tool that covers a wide range of topics related to mental health and well-being that can affect people from all walks of life. Some of the subjects include stress, depression, anger management and domestic abuse. The content has also been designed with the classroom setting in mind and could easily be integrated into lessons and discussions by teachers.  In a short space of time, the app has been featured on the App Store in the U.S. in Apple's 'New Apps We Love' category.

"Users will be able to engage and learn about mental health using a wealth of information and resources directly from the app. Information is presented in a range of different formats and is designed to be easily digestible". The app, which can be used with any iOS device, will provide users with a combination of courses, activities, tips, and techniques. Each course has been tested by Healthy Minds Online's founder, who was plagued with depression and stress, during his career.

Healthy Minds Online
is the fruit of more than two years worth of research and development. The result is a useful, accessible and effective tool, with a number of self-paced courses designed with guidance from a private counseling and therapy practice. The new app is called Healthy Minds Awareness App.

Mayuir Sidhpara, Founding Partner of Healthy Minds Online, said, "The discourse surrounding mental health is becoming much more widespread and open with each passing year, but there is still so much to do to completely remove the stigma that is attached to it. My hope is that the launch of our app will encourage more conversation and increased awareness about mental health and my aim is to help shatter some of the negative misconceptions that those suffering from mental illness face".
