Inch Worm is a game supporting the development of logical thinking, planning, and problem-solving. It is suitable for children age 6 and above, and also playful adults. Your task is to guide the inch worm around the playing area, which is made up of a square grid, to it’s home. In most levels, various other critters must also be driven to their homes.
Control is very simple: Click on any square which is horizontal or vertical from the inch worm (that is left, right, up or down) to move the inch worm. There is no time running during the game, so there’s no need to stress. Planning, logical thinking, and imagination are important. In the course of the game, you will gradually discover a number of other rules.
The app has 72 levels that are evenly divided into three series with 24 levels each:
- Newbie (“novice” – for beginners)
- Classic (“classic” game – medium difficulty)
- Master (“master” – the most difficult)
You can select the level by tapping the gear icon in the bottom left corner. In every series, the difficulty of playing the levels gradually increases. You can move between the tasks by using the left arrow (an easier task) or the right arrow (more difficult task) below the grid.
What parents should know
Game control is intuitive, no manual is required. Several simple rules are explained in the first task in which the rule is needed.
