Times Tables Pro

Times Tables Pro, by frogameleon Ltd., is the latest and greatest way to learn, practice and test multiplication tables in a sleek, but simple app form. Bot, a 21st-century buddy, whom you will be competing against. What we liked from the get-go were all the options of multiplication tables kids could practice, learn, test, and review... all with a pace that suits the user! The menu gives so many choices - how many problems to work on, timed with three speeds or no timer, multiple choice OR keyboard answers. Every aspect can be customized to the individual player's needs. One of the best features is the 'Review Bank'. Any gaps in specific knowledge of a problem can be easily brought to the forefront and be addressed.

What really sets this app apart is the sophisticated, no-nonsense, mature approach. Even an adult would feel comfortable with the polished presentation.

I am a special education teacher and often have students that need a more mature style, it is imperative for those struggling. I can tell you many, many kids need the extra help at older ages, at mastering multiplication, and this game meets that need in stellar fashion! Not knowing what girls would think of the sleek robot-like set-up, I had a gaggle of girls play with it last night. It quickly became apparent, that was not issued.

The developer's background is primarily as a Software Developer. "The App came about due to my wife wanting an efficient and 'attractive' way of inspiring our six and ten-year-old children to learn and master their multiplication tables. The rest, as they say, is history." The developer shared with us this message:

"With Times Tables Pro I have deliberately targeted a more mature style to appeal to students of all ages. Thanks to sites like TWA, we can hopefully inspire a new generation of mathematicians, at all levels and abilities."
